It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Jonathan Meakins in his 62nd year. He attended Aldershot High School & was a lifelong resident of Burlington. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Jane Riddell (Dave) & Kathie Byford (Bill) & brothers Will & Robert Meakins. He also leaves behind his many nieces & nephews Rob Hughes (Ghazaleh), Jessica Mai (Quoc), Sarah Riddell (Qureish), Will Meakins (Sherry), Kristen Oates, Kevin Oates (Breanne), Finn Meakins & Nate Meakins.
Jeff enjoyed reading & watching sports and he took loving care of his parents in their declining years. Cremation is taking place, followed by a private family remembrance at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joseph Brant Hospital would be appreciated.
