Obituary for Jeanette Corso
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanette Corso on September 1, 2023. Although she will be greatly missed, we find peace knowing that Jeanette has returned to her heavenly home with Jesus.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband Sammy (Salvatore) Corso of 64 years. Her children Patti, Lorrie (John), Jeanette (Jeff), Salvatore (Carmela), and Joseph (Kasey). Her many grand children: Kourtney (Jeremy), Wyatt, Zachary, Kurtis (Britt), Erica (Luckas), Aaron, Karly (Charles), Noah (Kaitlyn), Joseph (Sara), Jessica (Allen), Cristina, and Christian. Great grandchildren Kylie, Ella, Jocelyn, Harlan, and Hadley. She will be dearly missed by her brother Michael (Barbara), sister-in-laws Toni, Barbara, Jeannie, many nieces, nephews, and cousins as she rejoins her family. Predeceased by her parents Gidio and Violet Milani, her sister Loretta, her brother Alex, her mother-in-law Provie Corso, brother-in-laws Anthony, and Wayne, and son-in-law Terry.
Jeanette’s Catholic faith, love of God, and devotion to our Blessed Mother were an essential part of her life. She spent her life living in God’s image raising a beautiful family, vacationing in Florida, babysitting all of her grandchildren, cooking ravioli, and baking grandpa’s favourite cookies. She has left us with many lessons about faith, love, hard work, and resilience. She has blessed us with a lifetime of wonderful memories.

A visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday, September 6th from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services at St. Joseph’s Parish, 135 Livingston Ave, Grimsby on Thursday September 7th at 11:00am with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to McNally House are appreciated.
