June 19, 1927 – June 1, 2018
Passed away peacefully at The Village of Tansley Woods on Friday, June 1, 2018 in her 91st year. Mom is once again with her beloved husband the late Charles (2015). Loving mother of Donna Ouellette (Glen), Nancy Snyder (Douglas) and Ken. Cherished grandmother of Michael (Kim), Andrea (Aaron), Marc (Kathryn), Duncan (Alexandra), Meaghan, Braeden and Stephanie. Proud great-grandmother of Ethan, Charlie, Hailey, Sophie, Hannah, Thomas, Theo, Isla and Oliver. Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Many thanks to all the staff of the Nelson neighborhood at Tansley Woods, for the kindness, compassion and care you extended to Mom during her stay.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, June 7 from 12 – 1 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery after the reception. For those who wish, donations in memory of Jean to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
