BARNES, Evelyn “Jean” (nee Sanderson)-
Passed away at Burloak Long Term Care, Burlington, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Royce Barnes (2001). Loving mother of Kim Taylor (Fred) and Mark Barnes. Cherished Grandma of Chris Taylor and Jack and David Barnes. Dear sister of Marion Lindsay and the late Helen Revell. Jean will be fondly remembered by her extended family, nieces, nephews, former neighbours and friends.
Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), Burlington, 905-632-3333 on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 3-6 p.m.
If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff at Burloak Long Term Care for their compassion and care of Jean during her stay.
