We are devastated by the loss of our sweet little girl, Jayne. Jayne passed away unexpectedly after a tragic accident on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Cherished and beloved daughter of Nathan and Sarah (nee Wilbrink) and adoring, loving big sister of Nolan. Precious granddaughter of Robert and Jayne Wilbrink and Linda and Bob Hounslow. Jayne will also be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her aunts and uncles Craig and Carolyn Wilbrink, Ashley and Connor James, Lisa and Ryan Kooistra, Rachael Wilbrink and Turner Wells, Ryan and Jennifer Hounslow and Brodie Hounslow. She is also lovingly missed by her cousins, Jackson, Brooklyn, Case, Hunter, Oscar, Ida, Liv, Tessel, Hudson and Colton.
Jayne was a beautiful, strong soul who loved and cared for people more than anyone we have known. She loved playing soccer, Taekwondo, singing and telling jokes. She had a sense of destiny beyond her years and regularly wrote notes of inspiration for her friends and cousins. Her determination and generosity were boundless and her smile would light up the room. We miss her terribly, but she will forever live on in our hearts.
To honour Jayne, her family has established an endowment fund with the Burlington Foundation. This Fund will provide accessible recreation, arts, and camp opportunities to local children and youth in need, now and into the future.
