Passed away at peace, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family at home, on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Beloved husband of Elaine for 57 years. Loving father to Jimmie (Andie) and Yvette Urquhart. Cherished grandfather to Alexa, Jamieson, Marie, and Ashton. Jim will be missed by his siblings Beth Wright (the late Rod), Hugh (Diane), Robert (Vicki) and sister-in-law Lottie. Predeceased by his brother William.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4-7 p.m., where the Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital or Gillian's Place would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
