It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim in Hamilton, on Monday, December 23, 2019 at the age of 64. Beloved husband and best friend of Cathy for 40 years. Loving and proud father of Christine and Daryl (Stacey) and expecting Papa of his granddaughter. Predeceased by his parents James Sr. and Agnes McHugh. Dear brother of the late Frank and Mike (Vicci). Son-in-law of Donna and the late Joe Maradin. Brother-in-law of Connie (Sam), Mark (Phuong) and Tom (Suzanne). He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, great-niece and great-nephews, and his beloved four-legged companions. Jim dedicated 40 years to Dofasco in the Masonry Department and was a die-hard fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Philadelphia Eagles. A special thank-you to Dr. Hanna and Thoracics staff and the nursing staff on the 4th floor @ St. Joseph’s Hospital.
