BROWN, Ivy Edna (nee McKay)
Peacefully passed away at Creek Way Village in Burlington on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the age of 100. Predeceased by loving husband Percy Borden Brown (1986). Cherished mother of Dorothy Harrison (Budd), the late Larry Brown (late Violet), Sandra Vardy (Wayne) and Robert Brown (Laurie). Devoted grandmother of Victoria, Jamie, Nicole, Jo-Ann, Tommy, Scott, late Christopher, late Katie and Christopher. Proud great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of numerous! Predeceased by her parents and all of her many siblings. Ivy will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews, the extended McKay and Brown families, and several friends. Ivy was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 60) in Burlington. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and support staff at Creek Way Village for their kindness and compassion & the excellent care provided. Private Services will be held for immediate family at this time due to gathering restrictions. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivy’s memory to CityKidz or Toys for Tots would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
