It is with heavy heart we announce the loss of our dearest mother, Irma, who passed away peacefully at Billings Court Manor, on Monday, May 15, 2023, in her 88th year of life. Reunited with her husband the late Norman L. Ward. Cherished mother to Deirdre (Robert) Cilic, Mairi Mackenzie and Roderick (Colleen) Mackenzie. Proud grandmother to Jade Mackenzie, Nolan Sousa and the late Hunter Sousa. Predeceased by her parents Victor and Edna Watt. Forever in the hearts of her extended family and friends. Irma may be gone from this world, however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime. As per Irma's wishes, and that of her family, a private cremation has taken place. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
