It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Miller on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the age of 87. Devoted wife of the late Dr. Bruce Miller (1994). Cherished mother of Nigel Miller and Fiona Lowden (Doug). Proud grandmother of Daniel Miller (Carolyn), Steven Miller (April Sanderson) and Devon Lowden (Kenzie Van Wagner), and great-grandmother of Torin Lowden. Dear sister of Kathleen Hulland (late Frank) of England. Remembered by the extended Miller and Lowden families as well as many friends in Ontario, Newfoundland and the UK. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. As per Irene’s wishes, a Private Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of the QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9:00am until the time of a Celebration of Life Service which will commence at 10:00am. Reception to immediately follow a the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irene to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.
