Obituary for Irene Boucher

Born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Irene was predeceased by her parents: Philippe Sr. and Liliane Boucher, her brothers Philippe Jr. and Henry (Louise).

She will be remembered by her daughters Lily (Chuck), Lisa (Marc) and Allison (Adam).
Irene was a very proud Nana to Paige, Lauren and Jordyn.

Irene attended Sacred Heart School in Ottawa for several years, eventually going to St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Timmins. Her dream of graduating as a Registered Nurse occurred in 1966, afterwards working for 22 years in a Sault Ste. Marie Hospital. From the beginning of her career, her goal was to be of “service to others.”

It was her wish to be cremated with no visitation. If friends so desire, donation to “Face the Future Foundation” would be most appreciated. (www.facethefuturefoundation.ca)

“Life is not a path of coincidence happenstance or luck, but rather an unexplainable, meticulously charted course for one to touch the lives of others and make a difference in the world.”
