Passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by family on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Doreen Patton (nee McQuade). Loving father of Andrew, Sharon, Mandy and Michelle. He will also be dearly missed by his in-laws, grandchildren, sister Marie and her family. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. A Celebration of Hugh’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hugh to Crossworld Canada, for Congo (www.crossworld.ca), would be sincerely appreciated.
