Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Creek Way Village Long Term Care Centre in Burlington on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the age of 83. Predeceased by devoted and loving husband Manual “Manny” Hendricks (1993) for 33 years, and second husband of 5 years; the late Peter Rassette. Cherished mother of Michael Hendricks (Vanessa), the late Anthena Hendricks, Bernadette Moodley (Jay), Shaun Hendricks (Marilyn), Charmaine Seale (Garth), and Roger Hendricks (Sumari). Proud grandmother of Lee Hendricks (Lauren), Tracey Littler (Duane), Angel Henri (Badir), late Patrick Hendricks, Tarsha Yon (Clinton), Devin Moodley, Keerin Moodley, Sherel Hendricks, Shaylin Hendricks, Aaron Seale, Kiara Seale, Tristan Hendricks, Eli Hendricks and Skigh Hendricks. Beloved great-grandmother of Ella Littler, Seth Littler, Wesley Hendricks, Mathew Yon, Mikaila Yon, Maya Yon, Meekah Yon, and Malachi Yon. Sister of 8 siblings, survived by Gerald, Louis, Sammy and Silvia, all of the United Kingdom and South Africa, as well as brother-in-law Gerry Hendricks. As per Hilda’s wishes, a family gathering and private cremation have taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held for family and friends at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington), on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm, with reception to immediately follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Hilda’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton/Halton would be sincerely appreciated.
