Passed away at Burloak Long Term Care, Burlington on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Bert (2014). Loving mother of Barbara Tregunno (Ross), Kathy McDougall, Susan Sendrowski (Gavin) and the late Michael. Cherished grandmother of Greg (Allyson), Chad (Megan), Rick (David), Jennifer (Aron), Kyle, Lynsey, and Julia (Mike). Doting great grandmother of Graydon, Gywneth, Dylan, Dean, Harrison and Hudson. Dear sister of Eva Bodri (Joe) and Edith Garton (Shane). She will be dearly missed by her close friends Pat, Elva and Shirley. Thank you to the caretakers at Burloak Long Term Care for their compassion and kindness to both Helen and Bert over the years.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, December 23 from 9:30 a.m. where a Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Private Interment Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in memory of Helen to Knox Presbyterian Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
