It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Gregory Miles Brown. Beloved son of Verna Brown and the late Harold Brown. Greg will be lovingly remembered by his sister Dianne and brother Christopher. Predeceased by his brother Antony. Cherished father of Miles (Caralin), Rebecca and Sean. Proud grandfather of Cameron. Greg will be dearly missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, friends and co-workers. During his youth, Greg excelled at baseball, hockey and bowling league teams. In his adult years, Greg loved taking a break to play a round of golf, downhill skiing, volleyball with friends, spending time at the cottage, meeting up with his buddies to play a round of trivia, attending the theatre and was an avid Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Argonauts and Cleveland Browns fan. Greg graduated from the University of Toronto and his academic achievements included B.A.Sc. (Civil Engineering), M. Sc. (Environmental Engineering) and MBA (Master of Business Administration). President of Pollutech Environmental Limited, where he had worked since 1986, Greg’s ultimate goal was to improve the environment. Greg will be remembered for his warm heart, quiet strength, and sense of humor. Private ceremony will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough. Celebration of life will be held in the near future with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Green Peace Canada would be greatly appreciated.
