HALL, Grant Beatty
Passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Billings Court Manor in Burlington, on Friday, November 22, 2019 in his 98th year. Loving and devoted husband of the late Joyce Hall for 69 years. Cherished father of Gary Hall (June), late Brent Hall (2019) (Nina), Craig Hall (Louise), and Pamela Hall (Douglas Neale). Proud grandfather of Maryann Kovac (Chris), Stephanie Hall, Steven Hall, Bradley Hall, Jennifer Lind (Andrew), Isabelle Farrell, and Shayne Farrell, and great-grandfather of Parker Kovac. Dear brother of Marie Temple (late Finn) and Marlene Hines (Paul). Grant will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with the Pettigrew family and numerous friends. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Billings Court Manor for their kindness, compassion and the excellent care that was provided for the past 5 years. As per his wishes, a Private Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held for both at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Grant to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.

I am so truly sorry to hear of Grant's passing. My father resided in Billings Court also, their rooms were across from each other. I always enjoyed conversations with Grant and admired his positive attitude and spirit. When my dad was in his final days, Grant was there by his side and was so incredibly kind and gentle. A true gentlemen. A man to be admired. Sincere sympathies to the family during this time of grieving and healing. Martha Prendergast.

My deepest Condolences to Pam and Isabel and Shane, I can't even begin to imagine how hard this is for you all. My thoughts are with you all.

This is so sad to hear that Grant has passed away only days after Joyce. They will be together beyond this earth and at peace. I can't imagine how difficult this is for the family and we send our deepest sympathy to the family for the loss of both Joyce and Grant. They were good neighbours. I will always remember Grant riding his bicycle around the neighbourhood, and over to the grocery stores early in the morning for his fresh fruits and vegetables. He always had a pen and pad of paper in his shirt pocket to write down notes and his favorite saying was "well you have a nice day".
From Marjorie and Kevin Latimer - neighbours on Augustus.
