PARTRIDGE, Gordon William
Passed surrounded by his family on Friday, June 18th at the age of 66. Gordon was the dear brother of Donna (Myron), Debby (late Steven), Susan (late Dale), Lauren (Scott) and Lisa (Glenn). Beloved son of Norman (2008) and June (2020). Proud uncle of Alex, Hayley, Melissa, Alison, Lindsey, Andrea and Mark. Gord will be missed by longtime friend John Dabrowski, Dave “Fish” and many other close friends. Gord will be remembered for being one of the nicest guys you could meet. You never heard him say a bad word about anyone. People were drawn to Gord because he was genuine, preferred to be happy, and he lived his life quietly and kindly.
Gord never met a gadget that he didn't like. He was fascinated with how things worked and was a bit of a collector when it came to these gadgets. If you were looking for something, anything, it was well known that you should ask Gord to check his inventory before you went to Home Depot or Canadian Tire.
To his many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, and the young people that were in his life, we know he'll be missed. All we can say to you is to be like your Uncle Gord. Be kind. Be yourself. Choose to be happy. Take naps. And don't throw away that odd screw you found in the junk drawer; you might need it someday.
In keeping with Gord’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
