It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Gord on Sunday, April 14 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Erika (nee Veres) for nearly 54 years, devoted father to Elizabeth (Dan Adams), cherished Poppa to Harlow and Sterling, loved brother to Joyce (Barry Hawman), David (deceased), brother-in-law to Ernie (Teresa D'Andrea), Uncle to Joanne (David Saab), Denise (Lee), Ian, Brandon, Christopher and Natalie, great uncle to Katelyn, Avery and Sienna. Predeceased by his parents Gordon Sr. and Joanne. He will be missed by cousins, wonderful friends and many others that had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 12-1 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
