Obituary for Gloria Teresa D'Alesio (Peroni)

D'Alesio, Gloria Teresa (nee Peroni)
July 1, 1966 - November 13, 2019

With heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beautiful Gloria in her 54th year. Adoring wife and cherished soulmate of Frank D’Alesio for 22 years. Gloria is reunited with her beloved parents in heaven, Pancrazio and Rita Peroni (nee Nardini). Gloria leaves behind her loving siblings, Larry Peroni (the late Joanne), Tony Peroni, Anna (Peroni) and Luciano Antolovich. She will be deeply missed by her dear mother-in-law Maria D’Alesio and father-in-law Sam D’Alesio, brothers and sisters-in-law Don and Michele D’Alesio, Guy and Rosanna D’Alesio and Anna and Ralph Biancaniello. Gloria is remembered with so much love by her many nieces and nephews for whom she cared deeply and spoiled, her loving Aunts and Uncles, cousins and friends, all who cherished and adored her. Gloria was a dedicated teacher with the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board for many years. Her strong Faith and spirituality, her devotion to prayer, her love and kindness towards children inspired everyone. She loved the outdoors, long walks and bike rides, exploring and appreciating nature’s wonders all over Ontario and countless destinations to which her and Frank ventured regularly together. Gloria was all about caring, nurturing, fostering creativity and imagination in everything she set out to accomplish. We will miss the constant flow of sweet delicacies from her kitchen along with the care packages which she would send home with us. She was determined to keep the family legacies and traditions of the Peroni household including her dedication to never leaving us without Mamma Rita’s ferratelle and stuffed olives at Christmas. Her beautiful soul and loving spirit will be with us forever.
