CUNLIFFE, Glen - 63 years, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Joseph Brant Hospital after entering due to chemotherapy complications, and subsequently contracting COVID-19. Preceded by his father, Walter (2011), Glen leaves behind his beloved granddaughter, Claire; his daughters, Erin (Nik) and Alexandra (Joe); his dear brothers, Donald (Maureen) and Paul (Tammy); his nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Michael, Jennifer, Justin, and Jamie; and his devoted mother, Barbara (Raper). Glen had an exceptionally challenging life, but he handled each setback with dignity, patience, fierce independence, and a classic sense of humour. If he could describe his life in a Far Side comic, or by referencing Homer Simpson, he would. Glen loved cooking and creating recipes, was an undefeated film and television buff, and the most enduring Pittsburgh Steelers fan (for better or worse). He is missed more than words can express. Glen’s family want to thank the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital, in particular the nurses and care team of 6S for the care and comfort they provided Glen during his short stay there.
