Obituary for Gladys Elizabeth "Betty" Vandusen (Wellings)

Gladys Elizabeth "Betty"  Vandusen (Wellings)
Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital, on Monday March 5, 2018, at the age of 73. She was dearly loved and will be missed by her daughters, Sherri-Lynn Harrison (Steve) and Susan Palmer (Scott). Proud grandmother of Matthew Harrison and Elizabeth Palmer. Dear sister of Marie Shoemaker. Betty will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her friends and family. Cremation has taken place and there will be an interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens on April 20, 2018 at 1:00pm. Special thank you to the compassionate staff of Dr. Patterson and the Palliative Care team for their wonderful care, support and guidance over the last few months.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 3-6pm. For those who wish, donations in memory of Betty can be made to a charity or foundation of your choice, this would be sincerely appreciated by the family. For those attending, let’s honour Betty and please dress comfortably or casually, just as she would.
