Obituary for Florence Ada Webster (Ensom)
WEBSTER, Florence Ada (nee Ensom)
Of Burlington, Ontario, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2019 after celebrating her 100th birthday. Florence was born on April 12th, 1919 in Toronto to William and Sarah Ensom. She met and married her husband Jim in Toronto in 1940. They eventually moved to their dream town of Burlington with their two children Randall and Dale.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Jim, her mother and father, her brothers Art and Herb and granddaughter Amanda as well as her son-in-law Dale Johnson.
She leaves behind to mourn her children, Dr. Randall Webster and wife Anne, and Dale Sharon Johnson; her cherished grandchildren, Philip, Alex, Gary (Lisa), Tara, Ashley, Garrett and Lucas; great grandchildren Makayla, Jack and Elliot.
A very special thank you to Martha’s Landing to all the caregivers, staff and residents. Mom loved the time she spent with everyone there.
In keeping with Florence’s wishes, Cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. Donations to The Cancer Society are welcomed. (Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON 905-632-3333.)
