Obituary for Eva Marie Edgeworth (Morris)

Eva Marie Edgeworth ARCT, Order of Niagara
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our strong and energetic wife, mother, grandmother and Gigi in her 91st year. As a result of her active involvement in the Anglican Church, Eva was a proud recipient of the Order of Niagara. Eva was also “Miss Eva” on Romper Room at CKNX Wingham in the days of live TV. Eva taught kindergarten for many years in Windsor, Walkerton, Brantford, Burlington and Oakville until she retired from the Halton Public School Board. She was an active member of the Retired Women Teachers of Ontario. Eva enjoyed using her language skills on the world travels she and her husband Fred enjoyed.
Eva will be dearly missed by her husband Fred (OPP retired), her daughter Rev. Vickie Edgeworth-Pitcher (Rob Pitcher) her granddaughters Rebecca Pitcher (Jason Forget) and Rachel Pitcher (RJ Palmer) and as well as her great grandchildren Isabella, Brooklynn, Aubrey, Celeste and Logan. She will also be missed by her brother-in-law Richard (Rosemary) Edgeworth, as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Eva will find joy in being reunited with her daughter Annie Foster (pre-deceased).
Many heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents of The Willowgrove Long Term Care Facility in Ancaster for their compassion and care.
Visitation will be Wednesday July 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at St. Matthew on-the-Plains Anglican Church, 126 Plains Road East, Burlington, Ontario where the Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday July 25 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the church.
