It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our beloved Ethel who passed away at the Chartwell Brant Centre Long Term Care Residence, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, just following the milestone of her 101st birthday. Reunited with her loving husband, Watson McLean, whom she was lovingly married to for 28 wonderful years before his passing in 1979. Ethel married her second husband Jack McLean and were lovingly married for over 25 years before his passing in 2009. Cherished mother to Jan (Charlie) Minken, Hugh (Barbara) McLean and the late Sandra (Ken) Maber. Proud grandmother to Sara (Rob), Erin (Harold), Kristy (Evan), Scott, Brett (Karrie), Matthew (Lisa), the late Holly (Al) and great-grandmother to Jordan, Stephanie, Matthew, Nickolas (Sharaya), Tanner, Gage, Kiya, Vance, Braya, Sydney, Jillian and great-great-grandmother to Jacee. Forever in the hearts of her many extended family and friends across Canada. Ethel may be gone from this world, however she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched throughout her lifetime. As per Ethel's wishes, and that of her family, a private cremation has taken place. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
