Obituary for Eric Edward Bullock

Eric Edward Bullock
Passed away at his retirement home, Heritage Place, Burlington, on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the age of 90. Eric Bullock was the beloved husband for 63 years of Barbara Mary Bullock (predeceased July 14, 2013) and loving father of Doug (Libby) of Toronto and Pamela Bullock Hughey (David) of St. Petersburg, Florida. Brother to Margaret Anderson of Mississauga and Nora Ann Cooke of Vancouver, B.C. A lifelong resident of Burlington, he was predeceased by his brother Theo and sisters Jean and Joyce. Eric was a Staff Sergeant with Halton Police force for which he received the Police Exemplary Service Medal in recognition of thirty years of loyal and meritorious service to law enforcement in Canada. He will be missed by all who knew him, family, old friends and new. As per his wishes, a private cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred at Greenwood Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Reception for Barbara and Eric will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 3 – 6 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations made in Eric’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
