Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family at the age of 86. What a beautiful journey through life! Enzo was born in 1933 in Fiume, Udine, Italy to Virginia and Agusto Canton. In 1955, he met the most beautiful girl in the world, Bruna Pin. In 1957 Bruna became his wife and best friend. They had a wonderful life filled with laughter, joy and love. Enzo was a loving father of Stephen (Susan), Jeffrey (Barbara), Laura (Kelly) and Ramona (Glenn) and of course the best dogs, including Molly and Cody. Cherished Nonno of Greg (Amy), Paul, Alana, John, Linda, Brett, Stephanie, Adriana, Samantha and Nathan. Predeceased by his brothers Alec and Victor, he also leaves behind brother-in-law Ugo Pin (Carol), and sisters-in-law Josie and Gabriella. Enzo was loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. His sense of humour and hard working nature will be missed by all who knew him. Enzo was a retired Stelco employee and proud bricklayer who loved nature, long walks, and the occasional libation. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 3-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil will be held at 8:45 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
