Obituary for Ellen Anna Waugh (Love)
Passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family at Wellington Park Care Centre on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Thomas. Loving mother of Tracy McCannell (Mark) and Tammy Waugh-Stewart (Doug). Cherished grandmother of Tammy (Ethan), Anna, Charlie (Jodi), Jimmy and Mallory, who taught them the joy of adventure and travel. Doting great-grandmother of Foster. Survived by her siblings Joseph, Jane Newlands and Ernie. Ellen created a beautiful family and brightened the world with her kindness and love. She dedicated her life to rescuing and caring for all animals in need, she will be deeply missed.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, August 15 from 5 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church (1371 Elgin Street, Burlington) on Friday, August 16 at 1 p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Reception to follow. For those who wish, donations in memory of Ellen to the Burlington, Oakville & Milton Humane Societies would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
