Betty... Caring, Generous, Loving, Energetic. Betty was a special friend of my Father Roy Blay. She brought many good times to their relationship from beginning to end. Remembered Forever. Al Blay

It is with sadness that we learned of Betty's passing. We were good friends with Betty and Bill Scarlett since the early 80's. Bill was our daughter Marlene's, sponsor at Confirmation at Wellington Square United Church. Betty and Bill were school teachers for years in Montreal. Betty was a front row singer with Sweet Adelines in Quebec and in Ontario. The Wellington Square choir and UCW were also activities for years. Many figurine awards were given to Betty for her work for Avon. Parkinson's disease can be devastating. Visits at the long term care home, the last few years, have been difficult. We felt so sorry for Betty. She will be missed. RIP

Betty was the first woman at Wellington Square to invite me to join a small prayer group. I had just retired and started to go to this church in 2012. She invited me to her apartment and we had many great discussions about her life and her love of singing. I visited her several times when her Parkinson's deteriorated her health and a long term are faculty was required. I brought along Lena Ashmeade, one of the other choir members. She was a beautiful lady. RIP in the arms of Jesus.

I thank God for dear Betty's life lived with Joy, good humour and compassion. Her faith was abundant and she shared freely what she was given in tangible generous ways. I am so grateful to have known Betty and will carry memories of her love of song and her cheeky smile.
