Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her beloved husband Donald in 2005. Loving mother of Dawn (Jim), Jane (Bill, deceased 2017), and Lisa (Ron). Cherished grandmother of Rosie and Claire, Paul and Will, and Sarah and Rebecca and great-grandmother of Calin and Ava. Elizabeth will be fondly remembered by many extended family members and friends. A special thank you to the nursing staff and Dr. Harpal Singh at Joseph Brant Hospital for their exceptional care. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
