Elizabeth Anne French (nee Hardey)
May 1, 1925 – December 29, 2019
With heavy hearts, but also with fond memories, we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Anne French. She died peacefully in her home at the age of 94. Predeceased by her devoted husband Ron and her eldest son James (Jimmy), she will be greatly missed by her children Callie, Newt and Colin and his wife Judy. Also mourning her passing are her 4 grandchildren Megan, Katie, Heather and Matthew, and her great-grandson, Cole.
A celebration of Betty’s life will take place at 10am for family and friends on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333).
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Martha’s Landing in Burlington for their exceptional care and support of Betty for the past 3 years.
We would also ask that In lieu of flowers you consider donating on her behalf to the charity of your choice. Betty had a special affinity for Covenant House, and the Humane Society.
