Obituary for Edward "Ted" Ernest David Chambers
It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the loss of Edward (Ted) Chambers on November 19, 2022.
For 55 years, Ted was a devoted husband and best friend to Lynne, an adored father to Carrie and son-
in-law Dan (Clifford), and a cherished ‘Pop’ to Breanna and Alex.
As a retired Stelco employee, Ted enjoyed his favourite past-times including fishing, sports, and family
dinners. For many years, Ted was a goalie for the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Club, and a coach with
Burlington Ladies Softball League (BLSL) for over 30 years.
A Celebration of Life will take place on December 2, 2022, from 6pm to 9pm at the Halton Naval
Veterans Association (2444 Industrial Street in Burlington). As per the wishes of Ted and his family, a
private cremation has taken place.
