Obituary for Dr. Donald Joseph Gardner

Dr. Donald Joseph Gardner
Dr. Donald Gardner

Dr. Donald Gardner passed away peacefully at The Brant Centre in Burlington, on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years, Audrey (2011). Survived by his brother, 2 daughters, 3 grandsons and 5 great-grandchildren. He was born in England, and practiced medicine for 60 years in England, Ontario and British Columbia. He made house calls, and was much loved by his patients. Donald also painted, gardened, and golfed his way across both countries! He was the rock of our family and will be sorely missed. He was an active member of his Church, Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (287 Plains Road E., Burlington), where friends are welcome to visit with the family on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 10:00am until the time of his Funeral Mass commencing at 10:30am. Reception to immediately follow Mass in the Parish Hall. Private Cremation and Interment to take place at a later date. For those who wish, memorial contributions in Donald's memory to The Alzheimer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
