Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Maple Villa LTC in Burlington on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of Ross “Shorty” for over 60 years. Loving mother of Debbie (Raymond) and Paul (Kelly). Cherished grandmother of Darryl (Amy), Mathew (Monica), Michelle (Joel), Heather (Mike), and Samantha (Colin), and great-grandmother of Keira, Blake, Paisley, Jack, Claire and Adam. Doreen will be fondly remembered by her brother Danny Wilson (Ann) and brother-in-law John Tuck as well as many extended family members and friends. In keeping with Doreen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Debbie and Raymond’s home on September 7, 2019 at 3 p.m. Please contact the family directly for further details. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada would be greatly appreciated.
