Passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the age of 77. Beloved husband and golf partner of Marlene (nee Mino) of 54 years and father of Scott (Wendy), Todd (Lisa) and Sean (Lisa). Proud grandfather of Ben, Sam, Luke, Jack, Matthew and Mark. Honorary granddaughter Sophia fulfilled Donn's wish of having a girl in the family. Donn also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and golfing buddies, notably John & Isabel Pullin. The family wishes to thank the numerous doctors and medical staff that helped him over the years, in particular Karen Antoni of the Heart Function Clinic. Donn is now walking 18 holes with wide open fairways, no water hazards and flat greens.


Visitation at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333), on Sunday, December 29 from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Burlington East Presbyterian Church (505 Walkers Line, Burlington) on Monday, December 30 at 3 p.m. Reception to follow.
