Having just recently learned of Don's passing I was deeply sorry I was unable at the time to
attend. Don and I were best friends through High School and for years after. We vacationed and partied together many times. I have missed him over the last 20 years. Wanted very much to reconnect but was unable to. I will add some photos to the page. My thoughts go out to his family.

On this day of Don's memorial I just wanted to share that he was a truly wonderful friend to me. The one of many memories that sprang to mind, was him accompanying me to the memorial of my daughter's mother in law. Although he was uncomfortable about going to these things, he went with me anyway and socialized with a lot of people there. So, although he didn't know this person, and barely knew my daughter at the time, he still went ahead and supported me through a very though day. He was a people person and really felt quite comfortable chatting and sharing with people of all walks of life. I met him through work, we were both security guards for Barber Collins Security Services and worked together for about 5 years at the same site. He always used to tease me because I was his boss when we worked at Schneider's. he said " Well I guess I'd better get you a Tim's when I go do the motor patrol or else you'll have me fired." He was quite a character and I feel truly blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with those he left behind, and I wish him many blessings on his new journey. See you on the other side my friend,
Love always,
Karen Fry
