Obituary for Donald Douglas Hubbs
Passed peacefully in his 88th year, at home, surrounded by his wife and children, son in law, and beloved dog Joey, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Survived by loving wife Marianne, daughter Cathy (Paul) Dawson, Michael (Suzanne) Hubbs, and Ricardo. Grand children Chad, Dane (Andrea), Chaela (Matt), and Jake (Nikki). Great grand children Lana, Halden, Orsen, Daxton, and Dreyden.
Proud Korean War Veteran, past Branch 60 Legion President, past Ontario Legion Provincial Treasurer, amongst many other duties and titles for the Legion. A long, successful career in Industrial Construction, managing many large projects in the steel industry and beyond.
A celebration of life will be held May 1st, 1 - 4 pm, at the Burlington Legion. A Legion Service will be held at 2 pm. At Don's request, donations to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers would be appreciated
