Yager, Donald "Don" Sifton
September 1, 1925 - November 2, 2019
After a long and happy life, Don Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital in his 95th year. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Ev (Nee Kitchen), daughter Sharon, sister Rosemary Marshall and brother Charles. Don was predeceased by his son Mike in 1990. Don is a veteran from World War 11, and a retired locomotive engineer with the CNR.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday November 6, 2019 from 7-9 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at Pineland Baptist Church (5100 New St, Burlington, ON) on Thursday November 7 at 11 am with visitation a half hour prior, and a reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at St Davids Cemetery will follow the reception. For those who wish, donations in memory of Don to the Elevator Fund and Pineland Baptist Church, or Juravinski Cancer Centre would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
