Passed away suddenly at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the age of 74. Beloved husband and best friend of Diane (nee Passmore) for 55 years. Proud and loving father of Kim Fisher (Duane), Brad Willis (Terri), Todd Willis (Becky) and Geoff Willis. Cherished Papa of Tyler (Leanne), Brianne (Kyle) and Natalie (Mac) Fisher, Brett (Alannah) and Kennedi (Ryan) Willis and Spencer, Sydney and Lauren Willis and great-grandfather of Jensyn and Dean. Dear son of Arlene Gallifent (Herb) and the late Jack Willis (Marion) and son-in-law of the late Lois Weddel (late Bill) and the late Jack Passmore. Brother of the late Marilyn Gater and brother-in-law of the late Doug Passmore (Madge), David Passmore (Karen) and Denise Brown (John). He will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Dave was a 31 year employee of Bell Canada retiring in May, 1995. He was a life member of the Kinsmen Club, long time Chairman of the Smithville Santa Claus Parade, Charter President of the West Lincoln Kiwanis Club, member of the Grimsby Probus Club and a proud blood donor. He was a most notable member of the Smithville community, always giving back where he was needed. He will be truly missed. Visitation at Mountainview Christian Reformed Church, 290 Main Street East, Grimsby, on Friday, September 6, 2019, from 4 - 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the church on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
