On Saturday, April 11, 2020 David Neilson passed away peacefully at Hampton Terrace, Burlington at the age of 88. Father of Carole Kaufhold (Peter) and William "Bill" Neilson (June). Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Kelsi, William and Karly and great grandfather of Julian. Beloved brother of George Neilson, Andrew Neilson (Isobel), Sadie Kerr (Andrew), Jean Walker (Bob), Effie Enslen (Paul), Jim Neilson (Margaret), Betty Muir (Tom) and Jack Neilson (Janice). Survived by May Neilson. David moved to Canada from Scotland in 1967. He was an employee of Dofasco for many years as well as a member of the Freemasons. David will be fondly remembered for his love of the Glasgow Rangers. Cremation has taken place. Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, a private family Celebration of David's Life will be held. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
