Obituary for David Klynkramer
May 23, 1958 – June 29, 2019
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of David, a beloved husband, father and brother, at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on June 29, 2019.
The devoted husband of Alette (nee Wevers) and amazing father of Gregory, Sarah and her husband Eric Lima (and William) and Jonathan (Margo). Dear brother of Anna Klynkramer (Ron Halladay), Janet Hart (Tracey Hart), Elizabeth Turnbull (Bernie Harker). David is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Loving son of the late Samson and Mary Klynkramer of Elgin, Ontario and dear son-in-law of Henk and Ineke Wevers of Kingston, Ontario. David will be deeply missed by his many wonderful friends in Burlington and beyond.
He enjoyed careers at Westinghouse Canada, Psion Teklogix and NCR. David had a enormous passion for volunteering and devoted many years to Burlington Scouts, The Sound of Music Festival, Relay for Life and as a Burlington Soccer coach. He spent many years documenting family genealogy and enjoyed many outings searching for geocaches with his dear Alette and friend Fulko. He was a remarkable storyteller and his zest for life was infectious. He will be greatly missed by his Friday night gang.

A Celebration of Life for David will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333). Visitation at 12 p.m., with service at 1 p.m. and a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society or Scouts Canada would be appreciated by the family.
David will be eternally missed but never forgotten.
