Obituary for David John Gibson
Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington on Friday March 24th 2023.
Survived by his wife Christine, daughter Helen (Kyle Robertson), son Nick (Shanna Campbell), grandchildren Liam and Sarah, mother Veronica, brother Michael (Lynne Gibson), nephew Craig (Brittany Gibson), niece Meaghan (Reece Richardson).
David’s career as an engineer led him to work all over the world. He loved to recount his many stories. David was a prolific writer of fiction and nonfiction; he leaves us with so many memories which we will all treasure.
The family extends their sincere thanks to all the staff at Joseph Brant Hospital for their care and compassion.
As per David's wishes, and that of his family, a private cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be celebrated at St. John's Anglican Church 2464 Dundas St. W, Burlington, on Friday March 31, 2023 at 2 pm. Private Family interment to take place at a later date.
If desired, memorial contributions to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
