Obituary for Clayton Ross Chantler
CHANTLER, Clayton Ross “Clay”
Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the age of 63. Cherished son of Margaret (nee Simcoe) and the late Percy Chantler. Devoted partner of Lorraine MacLeod for 11 years. Loving father of Kiera Chantler (Ian Clark) and Cheyenne Chantler (Luca Bozetto). Proud grandfather of Liam Chantler-Clark. Dear brother of Cathy Conner (Michael) and Craig Chantler (Kim). Clay will also be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, many cousins and other extended family and friends. As per Clay’s wishes, private cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will follow in months to come. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Wenjack & Downie Fund - Reconciliation (https://downiewenjack.ca/support-us/) or The Hamilton and Burlington SPCA would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
