Obituary for Clara Anne Hunter (Petrowski)
Clara Annie Hunter (nee Petrowski) passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on March 25, 2023 after a short battle with congestive heart failure and its multiple complications.
Clara was the loving mother to her only son Michael Makwich (Susan) and stepchildren Linda Swance (Jeff) and Bruce Hunter (Linda). In addition to her children, Clara was grandmother to Jacob, Andrea, Colin, Nolan, Blake (deceased) and five great grandchildren. Clara was predeceased by her parents, husband Robert Hunter and her brother Edward. She is survived by her youngest brother Robert.
Visitation and Service to be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Saturday, April 8th 2023. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and the service will begin at 1:00pm, with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
