It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Cathryn passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the age of 67. Beloved life partner and "favourite girlfriend" of the late Robert (Bob) Wilson. Predeceased by her sister and best friend Bonnie. Deeply missed by her parents, Herbert and Gladys Perry. Dear sister of Susan and Carolyn. Dear aunt of Robin, Perry, Tesni, Trevor and Chelsea, and Great Aunt of Scarlett. She was the loving stepmother of Sharon Wilson (Robert MacNeil), Linda Moss (Corey) and Patricia Roperti (Frank) and proud Nana of Clayton, Ayden, Jack and Ashton. Cathryn will be greatly missed by her friends, especially Stephanie. Cathryn had a very difficult year, with the death of her dear Robert and her own ongoing health struggles. She is now at peace. Cathryn will be remembered for her witty sense of humour (she could always find the best greeting cards!), thoughtfulness and drive for a good bargain. Memorial Gathering will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, November 17th from 3- 5 p.m. Donations to Wounds Canada Foundation would be appreciated by the family. https://www.woundscanadafoundation.ca
