JOHNS, Catherine Ann (nee Bracken)
Unexpectedly died on April 22, 2021 at the age of 87. Devoted and loving wife of the late W.Hugh Johns for 61 years. Cherished mother of Ann Sebastian (Bart Greer), Linda Johns, Michael Johns (late Cathy), Beth Oribine (Mark), Charlie Johns (Mary-anne), and Peter Johns. Proud grandmother of Mark, Matthew (Tracey), Luke, Dylan, Candace (Ryan) and Cam (Jess), and great-grandmother of Cassidy, Emilia, Jeremy, Trevor, Gracie, Curtis, Luke, Jessa, Ryley and Kaylee. Dear sister of the late Dorothy Marvin (Darl). Catherine will also be missed by her extended family and many friends.
Catherine has been a Burlington resident since 1965. She was longtime parishioner of Holy Rosary Parish and a member of the UA67 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Senior Club. Catherine loved her family. A special thank you to the first responders for their excellent care.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Parish on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:30am. Guests are asked to RSVP in advance. If you are having difficultly with the RSVP, please call the funeral home between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
