LINNEBORN, Cassie Alina White -

Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 90. Predeceased by loving husband Henry Gibson “Bud” Linneborn (1992). Devoted mother of Gibson “Gib” (Millie) and Greg (Carol). Proud grandmother of Erin Linneborn, Doug Linneborn (Nicole George), Samantha Walter (Denny) and Matthew Linneborn (Stephanie Veerman). Great grandmother of Hudson and Case. Will be sadly missed by sister Margaret Hycha and brother Ronald Burns. Predeceased by siblings; Maxine, Bill, Darrell, Don, John, George, Hedley, Martel and Douglas. Dear sister-in-law of Pearl Burns and Rich Linneborn (Cathy). Cassie will also be missed by extended family, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 5-8pm, where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 2, 2018 beginning at 10:30am. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery, and then a Reception will follow back at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cassie’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, a place where she was a passionate volunteer for over 40 years, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
