Stait, Carolyn Ruth (nee Blois)
After an extended hospital stay and several amazing recoveries, Carolyn passed away with her family by her side at Joseph Brant Hospital on Tuesday June 18, 2019. Loving mother to Greg Stait and Kim (Mike) Bevington. Sister to Walter G. Blois and extraordinary special Grammy to Christopher and RJ. Carolyn will also be missed by her many friends, neighbours and those at the Burlington Seniors' Centre (especially those from Pickleball and Stained Glass). A huge thank you from Carolyn’s family to the many Nurses, PSWs, Doctors, Cleaners, Physio, Porters and Volunteers at Joseph Brant Hospital. Your kindness, care and compassion was second to none, thank you. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington (one stoplight north of the QEW), 905-632-3333 on Tuesday June 25th, 2019 at 1 p.m., with visitation between 12pm and 1pm. A reception will follow at the funeral home. For those who wish, donations in memory of Carolyn may be made to Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington.
