Carol Helen O’Hare (Sweet)

Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Friday, October 18th, 2019 at the age of 75 in the presence of her loving husband, Brian.

Growing up in Montreal, Carol had 2 wonderful boys, Robbie and Donald. While building their family, Carol worked diligently to become a Nurse, eventually working at Montreal and Toronto Children’s hospital; her love and caring for children was the fabric of whom she was. Meeting Brian in 1979 in Montreal and then married in 1980, Luke and Devon joined the family in 1981 and 1982. Moving and travelling became the norm, eventually landing in Oakville, ON. Carol gave many dedicated hours and years to service to Oakville Senior’s Citizens Residence where she gained many friends. Her career later shifted to instruction at Sheridan College. Sheridan College was a place where she continued her lifelong journey of learning and later transitioned into instruction. She found this new part of her life incredibly rewarding and loved her students immensely.
