Passed away surrounded by her family at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She is predeceased by her parents Alan (1997) and Angie (2001) and her close friend Paul. Carol was married to Roger McNutt (Lynda) from 1969 to 1988 with whom she raised three children. Though their relationship did not last, the pair maintained a friendship and embrace their unique blended family. Carol was overjoyed and her heart complete when in 2012 she was reunited with her first born. Beloved mother of Jon (Donna), Jennifer (John), Trish (John) and Andrew and Jenghis. Cherished Gramma Nutt to Kyle (Kiara), Taylor (Hayden), Kenzie (Blair), Devon, Chandler, James (Chantal), Josh, Erik and Charlie. She was proud GG to Reggie, Hank and Koby and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first great grand daughter. Loved big sister to Brian (Janet) and Mary (Ralph). She will be missed by her cousins, extended family and dear friends.


Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, September 20 from 12 p.m. where a funeral is set to be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
