Obituary

CARLOS JESUS MARTINEZ GAUDENS
1954 – 2020

His wife: Ana Carolina Medina de Martínez

His children: Maria Carolina and Antonio Blanco
Mariclaudi and Marcos Paz
Juan Carlos and Mariagiselle Martínez

His grandchildren: Veronica, Viviana, Leonardo, Mia Bella, David and Isabella

Her sister: Yoraxi Soronda Gaudens

His uncles, cousins, nephews, family members, and friends invite you to join them in honoring his memory and the beautiful work he left behind by contributing your memories of him in the "memory book" at the website of the funeral home http://smithsfh.com.

“You wanted to change the world and you left a beautiful footprint teaching us that everything can be done when you overcome fear and have God at the center of your life.”

For several years we have undertaken the mission of helping the children of our beautiful Venezuela due to the immensity of their daily needs. In accordance with Carlos Jesus' wishes, we ask that in lieu of sending flowers you instead make a donation to Misión Venezuela through an “email transfer” to: misionvenezuela@yahoo.com or via PayPal at paypal.me/pools/c/8nKuQUzjRE and transform those flowers into a plate of food or medicine for our children and our elderly.

Due to the current situation in the world today, we will meet virtually next week to celebrate the life of Carlos Jesus through the Zoom platform, at a date and time that we will communicate to you in advance so that all of you can join us from anywhere in the world.

CARLOS JESUS MARTINEZ GAUDENS
1954 – 2020

Su esposa: Ana Carolina Medina de Martínez

Sus hijos: Maria Carolina y Antonio Blanco
Mariclaudi y Marcos Paz

On behalf of the Palmer Place Board of Directors, I would like to express sympathy and condolences to the family, those Carlos has left in God's care. For us, Carlos was a humble, gentle giant of a man - he only had kind words, was always positive and looked on the bright side. He always had a smile, and always left you with a sense of confidence. He was a man of deep faith and compassion, who's life leaves a legacy that we can learn from and follow. More than anything, he was so proud of and loved dearly his family. He will be missed, but we know he is where God wants him to be. We pray for you and ask that Christ would give you His peace, comfort and strength.

This is one of those human beings who make you wonder. For all the years I knew him, he did nothing but spread warmth, joy, reassurance and humour, so how come he had to suffer so? Was he balancing the world's energy the same way he balanced his family and close friends? Whatever made him tick, I feel blessed to know such a human being...not to mention the woman who has been the perfect mate for him all these years, and the wonderful family they made.

Alberto
